This is a wellbeing support group for women who no longer have their children in their care. Come along and find comfort and friendship from other mothers with similar life experiences. Support each other and look towards a brighter future. What is it? Mon Café is a group session that supports women 18+ (mental health & wellbeing) from a culturally diverse/religious background specifically south Asian community. The group is a safe place for those who need support from a holistic and personal approach to help recover and heal from mental health and improve wellbeing. Our staff speak various Asian languages, and we offer culturally appropriate activities to support people to improve their wellbeing and mental health. What is it? If you are interested in poetry or creative writing and have an appreciation of this and want to join with others to explore this, read poems and hear others poems. The group is in its infancy with a view to developing this further possibly in to rap or music dependant on facilities available. What is it? During these sessions we will be looking at Irish folklore, history, and crafts. Exploring new ways of telling stories through mindful art. We will be focusing on 3 projects leading up to the St Patricks Parade which will include, Green Man Masks, Banner, and the Tree of Life.
