Hearing Impaired Social Group

An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Monday, repeating until 6th September 2021
A peer-support / social group for clients with a hearing impairment. Topics for each session can be raised by group members and sessions facilitated by Jade (mental health support worker) to ensure everyone has their say and they are having fun! Topics include common difficulties in communication as a hearing impaired person, sharing advice between group members for dealing with difficult situations, organising guest speakers and events for group members (currently on hold due to covid-19 restrictions), sharing positive stories about family or pets.

Who the group is for: Any Live Well Leeds client with a hearing impairment (but whose first language is not BSL)
How do I Join?
Google Meet

This group event will be delivered via Google Meet*. You can find out more about Google Meet, sign up and download the application.
*You will need to have Google Meet installed on your device to partake in this event.
